"Bird Life" is this week's "Camera Critters" post. If you want to participate, click on the image above.

Birds. What a life. Oh, to have that kind of freedom...

Here's some footage I shot of different Aussie birds flying, eating and doing their birdy thing in my garden and surrounds.

Next week: Bird Life Part 2

  1. This is an awesome little movie! I've played it twice so that I can bounce around to the music as I comment too!

  5. Great film. For me it was like a visit to the zoo. Birds over here are so different from yours. I have to try and get some good birdie photos to post. A project!

Can't wait to see next week's birdies.

    Hugs my friend,
    Carolina

  6. When I was a kid I enjoy watching exotic birds too. Now I seldom see other birds, only pigeons and crows and sparrows lol.

  7. I love birds and the symblic freedom that they represent.
    Fly on free.
    and these lyrics also,
I'd like to fly, but my wings have been so denied.
    fly, fly, flying
    fly , fly,
    lets fly away

  8. Play free bird!

Nice production on that video, well done!

I've grown more fond of birds since meeting Jacq. She used to have parrots and Lori's and such...and she's given me an appreciation for them.

If I took pics or videos of the birds in my area, none would be terribly impressed at all. they're all dirty birds. :)
